Young Adults

GWAC has a passionate young adults’ community who are committed to living lives in deep relationship with God, in close fellowship with one another, and in active engagement with God’s mission in the world! They meet in Connect Groups during the week and gather for worship at the Sunday 5pm Service. They are a welcoming community with lots of opportunities to connect and serve!

Connect Groups

In a large church such as ours, the young adult Connect Groups seek to be a place where small groups can form deeper relationships and be discipled by those around them.

Connect Groups focus on connecting with God, connecting with each other and connecting with the wider community. Connect groups study God’s word together, pray together and enjoy times of fellowship with one another.

Young Adults Retreat

All Year 12 students through to 30 year olds are invited to be a part of our Young Adults Winter Retreat. The young adults community go away for a weekend to intentionally build their community, get to know one another on a deeper level, spend time in fellowship, explore what the bible teaches us and worship God in community. It gives our young adults opportunities to hang out and create great memories together.
