Young Adults
GWAC has a passionate young adults’ community who are committed to living lives in deep relationship with God, in close fellowship with one another, and in active engagement with God’s mission in the world! They meet in Connect Groups during the week and gather for worship at the Sunday 5pm Service. They are a welcoming community with lots of opportunities to connect and serve!
Connect Groups
In a large church such as ours, the young adult Connect Groups seek to be a place where small groups can form deeper relationships and be discipled by those around them.
Connect Groups focus on connecting with God, connecting with each other and connecting with the wider community. Connect groups study God’s word together, pray together and enjoy times of fellowship with one another.
Young Adults Winter Retreat 2024
All young adults, Year 12s included, are invited to be a part of our Young Adults Winter Retreat at Iluka Retreat in Shoreham.
Join us for a weekend of hanging out together and thinking about how we can develop an evangelistic lifestyle.
Evangelist, Helen Bell, from the Bundoora Presbyterian Church and co-author of The Ripple Effect, will be teaching us how we can grow to be people who gossip the gospel and talk about Jesus naturally with those around us.
